It supports up to 50 IPSec VPN tunnels simultaneously using Public Key Infrastructure (PKI), reducing your operating costs and improving the security of your network.  "True Firewall" 2005-04-18
By Ka Wing Li (San José, Costa Rica)
Pros:

I can say that is a very good VPN Firewall Router, because the security is very strong, also the VPN functions are very easy to manage, and the VPN security it comes with several encription options.

The data transfer from WAN to LAN it's increible, very fast response when you are surfing on the Internet, it has a fast processor 150Mhz that makes the difference from the Home VPN Routers, like Linksys. It has a metal hard case, it's not a chocolate box (plastic). Also it comes with 8 FastEthernet ports, that is enough for home, office, small business or even LAN parties.

With the lastest version of firmware, no problems presented so far, fast rebooting, for ex.: if you are on the phone through your VoIP adapter, just takes a few seconds to reboot and your call will not get disconnected, true firewall security, like SPI and Intrusion protection and the DoS.

The DIAL-UP Backup works great, when you Internet is disconnected the Dialup setting will work automatically to continue to having internet, not too fast, at least a backup option.

The dial-in option is excellent, you can access to your home or office network calling your phone number where is connected in the modem through your router, you can access to the Internet with your broadband connection from anywhere.

Cons:

Lack of QoS option, that will be great if this router comes with, no SNMP management option, and no VPN Client software.

Another thing is that there's no MAC Filtering, where you can allow or deny which PC's gonna access LAN or WAN.

I recommend this product if you wanna true firewall and security for a cheap price (comparing with Cisco routers), you will get a excellent VPN router and a excellent dialup backup.

If you want more, get the new version Netgear FVS338.
